HOBY Volunteers

Every year, more than 4,000 volunteers throughout the country and 50 from Idaho, commit their time, energy and talents to planning and executing the HOBY Idaho Leadership Seminar and alumni activities. Volunteers make a significant impact on the lives of HOBY ambassadors, while also having an opportunity to reevaluate their own life goals and objectives, share their experiences and have fun! Due to the efforts of these volunteers, more than 335,000 students have participated nationwide since 1958 and more than 2,200 students have participated since 1984 in Idaho.

Idaho volunteers come from all backgrounds and experiences to work together towards realizing HOBY's vision. Volunteers range from keynote speakers and guest panelists to group facilitators (who guide participants through their experience) to recruiters who engage local communities and companies to help fund the participants' program costs, and many more. HOBY Idaho volunteers are aged from 17 to over 60, and we continually are seeking out energetic and driven individuals who want to make a different, motivate young people and serve their communities.
